Ladies & Gentlemen, you'll already be aware that the Torquay trip has been cancelled, given the current Covid 19 situation. The hotel has kindly agreed to hold our booking [& our deposit] until the end of September 2020. They will guarantee our booking for the following year (July 9th - July 12th 2021). If at the end of this season, the club decide not to go ahead with the reserved booking, the deposit will be repaid. However, once repaid, the hotel cannot guarantee availability for the year 2021.

There may be those who wish for a change of venue. Be minded that we have been going to Torquay for many years. The committee will consider any viable alternatives. Costs, location convenience, possible constraints, availability & economic outlook will have to be discussed.

Replies can be sent to myself and any valid proposals received as a matter of urgency will be considered by the committee prior to committing to Torquay next year.

Regards, Peter Christian, pp CABC Committee
