Club History
The Cardiff Athletic Club [CAC] incorporates a Rugby Section (administered by Cardiff Blues Ltd, with Cardiff Athletic Club as its major shareholder), a Cricket Section, a Hockey Section, a Bowls Section & a Tennis Section. Each Section is represented on the Management Committee which governs the club. The Bowls Section is represented on the Management Committee by Les Hazell, Chris Barratt & Bob Williams (Trustee) .
The CAC has produced two Welsh International Bowlers,
- The first was C Standfast in 1937
- Followed by Bryn Hawkins who played in 1970 - 71 then 1981 to 1986. He, also, represented Wales in the 1982 World Pairs, & captained his country in 1982 & 1984.
