What a night at Cardiff Athletic Bowls Competition, made even more special by the presence of the new President of Cardiff Athletic Club, Mervyn John. Bowls, Cricket, Hockey, Rugby Union and Tennis all descended on the green for a competition packed with friendly rivalry.
Al’s Pantry kept everyone fuelled with mouth‑watering Indian cuisine after the competition, exactly what the athletes needed after all that “high‑intensity” banter and questionable shot‑making.
A brilliant night, full of laughs, great company, and the kind of inter‑section mischief we’ll be talking about for ages.
