Hello Fellow Bowling Members!

As the season is fast approaching I thought I'd drop you all an email to say some of the things that is happening this season, from the Committee.

Malcolm Gilmore Cup (MGC)

Owing to our low members' numbers, the club is not able to fulfil our commitment for an 'A' side this season which is disappointing!

To support and improve our membership, we have devised the MGC Competition which will be played on Friday evenings and Saturday Afternoons. This will be very similar to the games that were played last August on a Wednesday evening. It will be open to Members of the club. The rules will be published on the notice board in our changing room. To play, simply add your name to the team sheet or WhatsApp as for any other game.

Wednesday 09 April 25 - If you are available this year. The committee is looking for help to get the green, club house, and campus area ready for the season. Als' pantry will be open for Bacon & Sausage Sarnies. From 09:30 even if its a couple of hours more hands make light work.

Opening Of The Green & Last Years Presentations

This is Friday 11 April 25 @ 18:00 opening of the green. The bar will be open from 17:00.

Saturday 12 April 25

New this season something different: a Bowls match Captains 16 v Chairman's 16. Starting at 14:30. Buffet and Bar.

Open Day

We have our Open Day on Friday 18 April at 17:00 for club members, guests, and families. we hope to recruit new members. Please would you all promote the 'Open Day' via your social media channels and share our CABC Facebook page [which has a link to the CABC website].

Match Schedule

Alliance Matches Tuesday PM normally 18 ends, but after 9, break for tea & biscuits.

Wednesday - Midweek League normally 21 ends depending on daylight starts at 18:00. Pasties after the game.

Saturdays - League Game or MGC. Home games Buffet style Food after the game.

Lady Members

The CABC Committee confirmed that Ladies can now play in all competitions this season.
