Dear Friends,

I have just learned from Peter Cross that Jean Carter, the wife of Bernard Carter who played for our club for 30 years, passed away last weekend aged 90. Jean used to make the teas for our team and was friends with many of our bowlers and their wives.

Her funeral will be held at St Patrick's RC Church at 10am on Thursday 3 March followed a short service at Thornhill Crematorium at 11.45am for those wishing to attend.

Best wishes, Stay safe
