I am pleased to announce that the South Glamorgan County Finals will be taking place at The Cardiff Athletic Bowls club on the following days: -

• Monday 2nd August at 2pm Senior Fours R Osborne (Whitchurch BC) V B Harris (Gilfach BC)

• Monday 2nd August at 6pm Open Fours Final C Williams (Gilfach BC) V D Harding (Penylan BC)

• Tuesday 3rd August at 2pm Senior Pairs Final Salmon/Osborne (Whitchurch BC) V Hallett/Cod (Whitchurch Hospital BC)

• Tuesday 3rd August at 6pm Open Pairs Final 6pm Doubler/Salmon (Penylan BC) V Harding/Hart (Penylan BC)

• Thursday 5th August at 6pm Senior Triples Final G Williams (Cardiff BC) V R Osborne (Whitchurch BC)

• Thursday 5th August at 6pm Open Triples Final D Salmon (Penylan BC) V C Wood (Gilfach BC)

• Friday 6th August at 6pm M Letman (Penylan BC) V D Salmon (Penylan BC)

The events are open to visitors and I would encourage our own members to come and support the players. Many of the bowlers are Welsh Internationals and it is a pleasure to see them play at our club.
