Good evening everyone,

The ALLIANCE fixtures will be starting the 2021 season a week tomorrow, Tuesday 27th April 2021. We will be home to Whitchurch Hospital and will be starting at 2.00 pm so please get there at 1.30 pm. We were due to play Penarth (Rectory Road) tomorrow but they are not yet up and running for their season.

Please remember that Covid 19 restrictions still in place. You are requested to arrive in your playing gear but the changing rooms will be open. Please wear a mask when inside any of the buildings and respect the Social Distance advice.

There will be 4 rinks in operation with 3 players from each side on each rink. We will play 16 ends with a break after 8 ends for refreshments in the form of cold drinks, including alcohol, served outside by Ray. There will not be tea and biscuits nor will there be a raffle as yet. There will be a collection of £1 per head for the club and we will consider a diddler on the day. My intention is to give everyone a game so there may be a change over at half time.

I have 18 names down for the game from member who attended our Presentation and roll up on Saturday. All eighteen will get a game along with any other members who turn up on the day. I will select a staring team later in the week but as I say we will ring the changes at half times everyone can get some practice playing an opposition team.

The following week the 4th May we will be at home again to St. Josephs and an attendance sheet will be posted on the notice board later this week for you to indicate your availability.

Please inform other members who you know don’t have an email address and I will be in touch again with the team sheet.

Take good care everyone, stay strong, stay safe.

Terry Ewington

Alliance Captain.
